Guest DT for Fernli Designs 4

Welcome Friends and Followers

This is my last DT for Fernli Designs I have enjoyed using these
MDF items there so easy to use they take to both
Tim Holtz and Prima sprays so well.

This is a ATC Shrine
Wooden corners are also from Fernli Designs

This was also easy to put together the little hinges fit so snug
I added a bit of glue to the inside of them to hold them in places.
I used a prima spray on the insde and outside of the box. I used the same colour
on the heart and corners.
Then I took 2 small cards that Prima do and they only needed a small
amount cut off to fit inside I used paper glue to hold them in.

I added a pit of spotty paper to the lid from one the Prima collections.
I took a small chipboard hart and some letters, Fernli dose letters as well,
I covered them in Tim Holtz spray,
I took one of the ATC and added paper
I love this paper its old and grunge  looking
I used the same ink around the edging.
Then I added the letters and heat to make a sweet
Valentines gift.

I glued the hart and corners to the top with hot glue.
And used some of the left ink from the box and dabbed it over
the inside card.

Thank you all from stoppping by hope you enjoyed this
you must stop by and check out all the stuff Fernli has in the shop
they add new stuff all the time and prices are amazing.

Love & hugs

Guest DT For Fernli Designs 3

Welcome friends an new followers
Hope your all staying warm.

I made this for my hubby's birthday and wanted to challenge
myself  and do it  masculine   as most I do is girlie lol

This is a fabulous set of cases from

I first made up the larger 2 then did the smaller one
in steps.

First I add some strong glue  to the base all around.

Then I put the sides on holding them for a second or 2
then add the other 2 sides as you can see
they are so easy put together,

I add the glue to the top the same as the bottom and it just slots on.

Here are the handles and back  hinges.

I used A4  papers and got the large one out of 1 sheet
I lade the box on the paper and then drew around it.
then cut them out.

When I Added the front paper I used a needle to make the holes
for the handles, then glued it in place.
Then I used TH distress pads to make them grunge.

I decided to I did not want to stack them on top of each other
so I used hot glue to have them look like the are falling.

I used Prima papers and wooden tags to decorate,
I made some baby tags out of the scrap paper left.
I then added some chain to finish.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed this little tutorial.
Love & Hugs
Nicky.
