Craftymess challenge 20

 

 

We are at the time for are Challenge over at craftymess

As you can see its Halloween 

I was not sure what to do so i made a card out of digi 

Its for my daughter from her daughter.

i used my spectrum noir pens.

 Well it looks like im getting back on 2nd post lol

this is a sketch for a challenge in craftymess 

and the one below is a daily challenge in craftymess. 

and yes its the fab flower i did yesterday.

Shabbie chic flower

 

 After seeing some of the great flowers people make i found this 

amazing lady on you tube this is a link to her videos 

Fi Jennings

She is a wounderful lady i meet her at the weekend.

. She made this flower and it was so easy to 

follow i have done a step by step for you but if you go to Fi's videos

she shows you.
 

 I am bad at circles so i drew around a plastic beaker

on ti card then on the cotton and cut them all out,

 

 then i folded in half then half again then again making 3 folds
 

 



 Then cut an arch from left to right

to make a petal don't worry if its not perfect as you can snip 

 in between.



 

 Then useing a lighter or gas flame lighter use lightly 

to curl as you can see its ok if the singe 

 



 

 When you have done them all glue together and add a flower 

in center and a feather or 2

 

.

 Then a piece of card for bottom. 

I then made a stick pin witch is also on fi's videos.

 

This is the fished one i am so happy with it.

And enjoyed playing.

daisy doodles challenge

 

 

Its time for daisy doodles creative challenges.

The brief was Autumn gold and brow i chose this sweet scarecrow

and col him with distress ink and water to get a soft col 

i also did the tab on the top 

I had a little bag and made a treat bag and used some raffia.

Hope you have fun with this one

Craftymess Challenge no 19 Anything goes

 

 Its time again for a challenge over at craftmess 

We had so many for the last challenge thank you all 

for entering.

This time it is anything goes

so i made a DL note book from a kitty food box

i took the bottom of the box trimmed it to size 

Then picked some card and  made 2 pieces a little bigger  covered one side of the cardboard with it

 i used a patterned

cutting blade to give it a nice look,

 

 

 Then i cut a bit of paper to size for the other side

When they were all stuck down i cut some plain paper for inside 

then put then in my bind it and made the holes and added the ring,

 

 

 



 Then i stared to decorate i did not use thick card for the front as i did for back

its only as heavy as the card i picked.

 I made some bows with 3 bits of ribbon

Added some gems and a small butterfly and a sentiment

Hope you all try this you can use a hole punch if you don't have a bind it 

and put ribbon in the holes instead of wire  or rings
