Lace reel

 Evening guys Hope your all doing good.

On Monday evening Angie did a tutorial on a lace roll 

and man it was stunning here is the link

to her you tube. 

 Well I did not have one so I thought I would make one 

I cut 2 circle's from a mustard lid. and used a reel.

 I covered them in paper from prima for the top bottom and reel.

I then cut the lave to size as i only had it to  wide or 2 skinny lol

I used 4 pieces and one for the tail bits.

 I then hot glued the first tall to the reel and then added 

all the bits with hot glue then i wrapped it round the real to add 

the Velcro to make the closer.and added a button and some flowers

on top to finish. This is not my best work

as I am pants at circles.

Swap cuff

 Evening all hope you all had a good weekend,

I did not get to do much i played with making some flower

which you have seen, I had a cuff (I know an other one ) LOL

to make for a swap with Maria I used some plan fabric then added

some lace on top this is one of the flowers I mad sewing as 

the hot glue one i thought was a bit stiff.

I have also used one of  Angela Holt Designs 

Pieces.

Sorry if I have not got to your blogs will catch up.

Handmade Flowers

Hi Guys hope you are doing ok and had a good day 

I am a bit behind today but I did get some new flowers done i am so pleased

 with them. I have used a few different fabrics and 2 way's

to put them together 1 was hot glue the other i sewed. I

have not glued in the centers as i can add when i use them.

So thats a short but sweet one for today.

Afternoon guys hope your having a better day than me,

 I have burnt my finger twice with a glue gun and now its raining.

Her is a few bits I have made today and videoed 

The first one is a gorgeous tag I made using Angela's

Tag mini kit Beautiful 

I so enjoyed playing with this one.

I then took a frame I got in the pound shop

Covered it with paper from the Classic elegance 6x6 free papers

from one of the craft mags. sorry forgot name and not sure where i put the mag.

Then I added some lace and 2 of the BLING  from 

AHD shop

Then I added a lovely sentiment. And a few small flowers. 

This is for a very special  young lady.

Lastly I made another notebook I am trying to get a good stock

 as I am hopping to sell them all at the end of the month.

August Challenge

 Evening my friends hope you have all had a good day.

As I got my DT package yesterday I got to it,

We have 2 challenges going on over at the NING

site first one is august-challenge  By Angela Holt

You have to use  3 or more of the made a small note book

I used K&co paper from the 360 papers pad

and Tim holtz co ordernations Some ribbon a button and 

Velcro as a closer.

The 2nd challenge we have is a loo roll cuff

this challenge is by Dawn one of the DT girls,

This is my cuff I have done a step by step

 Here is what i used A loo roll cut to the size you want 

i snipped some of the 2 ends, then I used hot glue to stick the jean's

fabric Then I added the organza ribbon i used 3 times the length

of the loo roll hot glued it in place then cut the felt to just under the size 

of the roll.

 Then i added a lace flower and one of Angela's 

Bling

Which you can get at her store.
