Memory box 2

 

 This was a easter box I got in The Works.
 

 

 First I sanded the whole thing then gave it 2 coats of white acrylic paint then while still wet 

I added 2 lilacs 1 light and 1 dark i gave it a quick coat of the light,

then dabed the dark in the wet,
 

 

 Then played with it till i was hapy with the look and while still wet i used a thin brush and added gold 

to give a marble look,

To do this hold brush at end and twerl and flick dont be precise,

 

 Then left to dry i added some lilac ribbon around the edge of the lid and a bow on top i got a tag and coloured it darker than the lid and made a small bow for this,

I then added some flowers a fether and a large butterfly 

all with silcone and to finish i glazed the base and parts of the lid then while wet sprickled iredesent glitter on to finish.

Our Ditzy daily challenge

 

Some of you know i have been ill for a few weeks and as pills are doing there job i can get back to creating so i started with my box yesterday.

and today i am doing the daily challenge brif was black and gold and choose a 3rd col so i chose jade,

i used black perlised card from my own shop (lol) and gold mirror card i stamped the lady in black Ink it up

Then embossed her i added the flurishes i got from the Works,

And then made 3 ribbon roses.

Trying some thing new

 

 As you can see this was a ted baker box 

I have seen loads of pepole doing boxes so i thought i would try.

i sanded the box.
 

 

 Then painted it gold with enamel pain wich i found peals so it gave a great 

distress look,

 

 Then i added a bit of lace round the edge of the lid 

Then i made 3 ribbon flowers i was given the silver star and fram by a great friend Angie 

Then a large fether and a few buttons.
 

 And a lilly and a sticker saying hearloom. and a bit of lace for top,

Then a big button for center. 

I am calling this a memory Box for some one lost.

Daisy Doodles challenge no 56

 

Its time for the daisy doodles Challenge 

This time its spring

I used a sm sq card and free papers from making cards mag i col with H2Os and the cut the basket out and put on foam pads to give a bit of hight and the i put it on some glitter card i added a bit of green ribbon and a big flower i got from a gift bag.

Ditzy Challenge

Its time for another challenge over at ditzy-craftymess this time we are sponserd by

I have choosen the young girl pregnent I coloured her with specturm Noir pens only Aqua 

i used a green ink pad to distress the outside i put her a scrap pices of light card then added the flower backing paper from aqua capsule collection  from papermania i add some ribbon down the side and made a double over and added this and the flowers a few gems at top and a congrats peel off.

I used co ordernations card to put him on i printed on to CC nina card as i used Spectum Noir pens he is in a fram wich was a download also from daisy i lined him up in there and printed i think he looks great in it.

i then used som paper stock i ahve for the bottom and ribbon and peel offs.

For this one i used Hot diggity dog as main image,

the backing paper is from papermania and i then put ribbon in the buttons,

 i doubled the button closes to us  used a bit of black card.

Daisy Doodles Creative Challenge

 

 So its That time again for an other challenge over at daisydoodles creative challenge 

We were give this lovely Egg wich is Half price over at daisys digi doodles Store 

I had this sweet pot and wanted to do something with it, so i used my H2Os to col the pot and i used a yellow acrylic paint as a base i colored the egg with Spectum Noir pens added some paper flowers and  ribbon then used Card candy on ribbon and as flower senters.

The chick is a bit demented as i tried to make him from 2 fluffy balls i had.

For this one i used Doodlebugs a sweer car and chose to only use greens with a splash of other col i use H2Os to paint the image a piece of coredernations from CC and some spootie paper from my stash, i then used ribbon and a flower and gems.

Ditzy Challenge No 3

 

Welcome to Are next Challenge over at  ditzy-craftymess We had some amazing cards for last challenge and the lucky winner was Lisa Tyrell 

This time i made a card for my mother in laws Birthday Which is tomorrow 

I made this useing Crafters Compaion Core dernations And the stamp is also from CC its part of the Peter rabbit range,all papers were from a down load called Pink Pettiecoat old fashiond girl i used a spelbinder edgeabilty and ribbon and gems. The next pic is a close up of the mouse i stamed her straight on to the paper.

I am back

 

Hello all sorry not been able to craft for past 2 weeks as i have been ill,

But i am now back.

This is a cute Kitty by Black pumpkin Called angel cat 

This is also for the daily challenge in ditzycraftymess

On are FB page 

I have used perlise paper from my own suply some orange ribbon and flowers 

I also used cold card and a lovely copper card and col the can with spectrum noir pens.

A Valintine specal

 

 This year i wanted to something special for my hubbie as i always get anything i want or need 

So its taken me about 2 weeks to do this, i used the MCS professional on the CD 

and could take all the pics in and soften the edges.

 

 

 Some papers i used came in the Making cards mag and i also used core dernations for backing also, and some ribbon and flowers.

Well he loved it.

Winter and Snowmen Challenge 2 over at ditzys

 

 Morning all well we had a fantastic result for are 1st challege well done all.

Now onto next one, We are being sponserd by  Robyns fetish for this Challenge. For my DT this time, I used the choc mug and painted it in water col left to dry then added more paint to give shades i then stamped hugs all over paper added brads i also used core dernations paper and some brown ribbion. First wen challenge over at Daisy Doodles

 

 This is my fisrt DT card for the wounderful daisy doodles 

This is also are first wensday challenge which now has a name Daisys Image Inspirations.this challenge is evey othere wen.

So we all got give this lovely poppy now i took this digi and used my Spectrum Noirs to do a yellow oringe poppy as we always see red ones and they come in loads of other cols including black lol

I then add some chines paper and Cordernations card stock for backing i added some black ribbon to make the black in the poppy come out. then i went to google to find Happy new Year in chinese and the i added a couple of small corner peel offs.

Special gift

 

I am makeing a mini scrapbook for someone and this is page one i have used Stray cat from Black pumpkin

I also used MCS cd for the pics the kittys are on  and softend the sharp look of the pics,
I also used my Tim Holtz cordernations and sanded to give and old look,

A new project for me

 

 Morning all as some of you know i have been on a few new courses this year and i have been lerning to sew yes i now i can but this is withi machines and i not any good with them lol,

So for the past 2 days i have been trying some new things and this little baby is what i made.

I was trying Quilting not ver good but ill get there and the frill took me 2 hrs just to work out how best to add it, I hope you all enjoy my little piece of work.

This is my love all thing oriental so loved this to bit cant add where i got bit to make as had them for a long tim so no coumpany name sorry the lady was part of a decoqupage set and the corners are acertate black printed.

Valentines

 

 This is a penny black stamp from a pack of clear stamps.

I used versa clear then black embossing powder and i col it with my spectum noire pens.

i then used one of my free papers i had for a bit, then i add pink ribbon to bring the flower pink out,

I then added 3 gems and to add a bit of sparkle i sprayed it with ireadesent glitter from CC.

Our Ditzy daily challenge

 

Well today we had to do 9 1 inc sq and make something yes i know its not as good as i can do but wanted to try as am a bit low on mojo at mo which is why no posts xxx

This was sprayed with CC iredesent spray then used scraps of cordernations to make the sq i  punched the heart out the blue cordernations used some tiny bows and small butterflys

so i made a little popcorn box using my swalk cd from CC and the flower and leves are also of the cd 

I added some sweets in florist paper and 2 stems to give a nice spring look.
