Craftymess Challenge 16

 

 Good morning my friends well we are at the time again for are challenge over at craftymess challenge blog.
The brief was blue and animals and we have an amazing new little company crafty-emblies sponsoring us, they do some amazing bits so please  pop over and see what they do.
Right know I have a few pots like the powdered milk  pot and I did not want to bin them, so they sat in my office for a bit.

When I saw my birds I thought it would look great on the front, so I worked out how much paper I needed by wrapping it round and then cutting.

I had this 12x12 called Boudoir from Crafts house.

 

 

 

 I used the stip part of the paper for main bit on pot 

then i worked out how much i wanted of the pattern bit.

I used the red double sided tape down the seam to add the stripped paper and the smaller bit.
 

 

 

 Then i added my birds they are col with spectuim noir pens

i add a large button and flowers to top with silicone. and a strip of ribbon for edge.

Notebooks

 

 Well I know i ahve not been about much as head in a bad place

i am starting to sort things out. so a BIG Thank you for all your kind words.

And this sat i have been asked by my eldest daughter to pop along with loads of bit i sell 

so i did these books for that and we are donating some of each sale to the charity that is holding a cricket 

do so hers hoping i sell loads i will add pics after to show  you .

Canvas Art

 

 Hello yes i got to blog again tonight

And thanks to a good friend Tina

she did a project with a canvas 

I had this partly painted and did not like how it looked

so it sat in my craft room till tonight.

there is a link to Tina's blog for you to pop over.

i used acrylic paint in metallic copper to cover the pic,

 

 

 then i sprinkled meltdust  rose from crafting.co.uk

then i painted it with cherry glaze and kitchen roll to spread it about

 

 Then i added clear extra deep embossing powder and pirate gold

sprinkled over canvas and heated,

 

 

 

 Then i added a load of flowers feathers and pearls and a string of pearls 

and 2 pins and then i added sparkle spray.

A special shoe

 

 This is made for a lady hows daughter lost her son,

and she wanted a memory one instead of a cograts one,

i used 3 A4 blue pearl card and 1 A4 acertate some flowers and a pr cut heart and some 

black glittered peel offs.

Daisy Doodles challenge 66

 

 This challenge was Back to school 

I used the Aristotowl digi from daisys digi doodles 

So please pop over and see some amazing digis.

I wanted to pop my owl on to a bag but they were to small or to big 

So i was looking about in my craft room to see if i ahd anything to make a bag with,

And i saw some wallpaper samples i got as i was going to use as backing paper,

i then cut some off bigger than the green bag below.

 

 

 so i cut a bit about 50cm long as i cut a bit off to give straight lines

then i folded 3cm of both sides (as in pic below)

 

 

 then i folded it in half then folded 2.5cm on both sides of center fold

Then i added some strong tape down to first score line on all sides.

Then stuck it together,

punche some holes and using raffia made the handles.

I stuck the digi on with silicone and added some pearls to finish.

Daisy doodles challenge no 65

 

Hi all its a nice sunny morning here at the moment,

For this challenge the brief was outdoors.

So i chose the card kit 1 which comes with loads of elements.

all i had to add was the fabric flowers ribbon and brads, buttons and of course the pic

Yes its me again playing with a dustpan ect why i dont know lol not my love is house work,

First shoe box

 

 

 Hi my lovely's In my first trial class i got the ladys to make a baby shoe,

i said ill make box's for them  and here is the first one.

I have done pics in steps for you,

I used 4 pieces of A5 card 1 A4 assatate and 1 12x12 paper mine had boots at top and bottom so i trimed them off for were the asstataegoes, and for the side panels,

i then cut 2 pieces  of the A5  for bottom and top which are 13x13cm sq score a 1 cm all round sides and cut were the meet for flaps only cut one side. then stick flaps this is same for top.

I cut the bootie paper to 15cm and scored at 2cm and 12cm 

i then added a small bit of tape and stuck in place leaving 2cm on each side.

Then i cut another 2 bits of card 20cm by 11cm and score at 13cm on long side,and decorate as you wish i used the paper left from the 12x12.

Next cut 2 bits of assatate  13.cm wide but length of A4 score at 12.5cm and score 1cm on both long sides to give you some thing for card to stick to.

Now stick together

I stuck lid down as this is my first try not to bad.

i have 2 more to make so if you don't understand this i will do a better one.
