Race for life

Well as you all know i did the race for life today and shocked

myself by finishing it.

i did the first 3K on my owen as the girls all ran it then came and

found me and walked the last 2 with me.

as you can see one of my girls took my phone and recorded my

line crossing.

they all ran it in about 30min mine was 1hr 7min.

Me i did it i am so chuffed I was a bit tearie at first as it was

emotianal.

 

It is one of the best days of my life we raised about

£700 pound.

A BIG thank you all for support and kind words it is what got me

round.

Pin cushions

 Morning everyone i will not be posting craft stuff tomorrow

as i am doing the race for life.I will be posting pics for the race.

 So here are some little pots in to pin cushions

I found a tiny cup and saucer in a charity shop

and added some bits for decoration i used stuffing 

from old teddies lol 

and some fabric to make a ball and hot glued it in. 

 These 2 are buckets also tiny ones,i added flowers

and ribbon to decorate.

A gift with a twist

 Hi guys i am on a roll getting all my stuff up,

Today is a different type of gift,

This is a gift for my mother in law its a book of sorts 

but a surprise inside. 

 This is charm i added

 I used a metal lid of something and glued it to the page

I also used Lady's Diary paper from graphic 45

All other bits was from my stash the yellow ribbon flower is a gathered

ribbon. 

 This is the other side of the book.

 I also took a mdf box and covered it with paper and a few flowers

I used Velcro as the closer.

wrape book

Hi guys i have another project for you.

This is a wrap note book so easy for you to do.

 

Take a 12x12 card like cordernatins

Cut a bit 11.5 x 6.5in and then score @

4.1/4 and 4.5 in then at 8.3/4

Now thake 10 sheets of A5 paper and trim to

15cm by 21cm

and fold in half then staple pages in to the small channel

then dec as you wish

The ribbon is 26in long

i used Ladys diary for the red one

and Engraver from prima.

 

 

 

 Them closed i love these ones

12x12 mini scrapbook

 Hi guys I have made a sweet 12x12 album.

 I used 1 12x12 cordernations card in pink

I scored at 2.5 inches  and score at 9 1/4inches 

Then turn left and score at 3.3/4 and  then at 4.inches

then 8inches and 8.1/4

now cut all four corners out to secound score mark,

 

 I used A4 Fairy paper by Prima

I cut 2 extra pages for bottom they are white

size is 3.3/4inches by 6.5inches x2

Score at 3.5cm on both as this is how the stick to bottom

cut papers to how you want the to the edge oe leave a border.

 I used the corners as tags. the pockets are same width as page and 1.5inches

i the used a corner punch and ink pad to soften edges

for the front and back i added ribbon and 3 bits paper.

I hope this is ok it was quick and easy to do

so please give it try.
