Paint brush challenge

 Good morning everyone hope you have all had a great weekend,

and are USA friends hope your enjoying the long weekend.

For September My challenge is to get a paint brush used or new as

long as its 2 to 3 inch's.

 I had to cut the brush part as it was to long.

I cut a strip of paper to cover some of the metal,

Then I cut some lace to wrap round the hole brush.

 Then i hot glued one of the flowers I made and the bird

cage.Then I glued the feathers and the Bling. 

 I then added the flowers where i wanted them,Then I put the tag from 

Lady's diary from Graphic 45.

 I left the bird till last so I could stand the brush up

to place it.I got the bird from Fiona Jennings in the first kit I got.

DT for Angela Holt's Design

 Afternoon guys hope your all well,

As promised this is my first official DT project,

I have done a you tube for you to see how its made which

lace and bits from my own stash,

New goodies

 Afternoon guys hope you all had a fab bank holiday,

I spent mine helping my daughter at her work,

now that is a killer lol.

Sorry I have not bloged much or had chance to leave comments.

I am not able to get to my craft stuff as hubby is converting the summer house

and I will be moving in to his office the stress,

LOL I did go shopping yesterday for some bits I can alter,

And the lace I ordered off ebay so cheep lol

 All the bits I got cost me £1.00 each the jar is the only one that cost £2.00

you got to love a pound shop lol.

 And the paint brushes i can not wate to play with.

And I have a new product to play with. Pop over and join the

Lace reel

 Evening guys Hope your all doing good.

On Monday evening Angie did a tutorial on a lace roll 

and man it was stunning here is the link

to her you tube. 

 Well I did not have one so I thought I would make one 

I cut 2 circle's from a mustard lid. and used a reel.

 I covered them in paper from prima for the top bottom and reel.

I then cut the lave to size as i only had it to  wide or 2 skinny lol

I used 4 pieces and one for the tail bits.

 I then hot glued the first tall to the reel and then added 

all the bits with hot glue then i wrapped it round the real to add 

the Velcro to make the closer.and added a button and some flowers

on top to finish. This is not my best work

as I am pants at circles.

Swap cuff

 Evening all hope you all had a good weekend,

I did not get to do much i played with making some flower

which you have seen, I had a cuff (I know an other one ) LOL

to make for a swap with Maria I used some plan fabric then added

some lace on top this is one of the flowers I mad sewing as 

the hot glue one i thought was a bit stiff.

I have also used one of  Angela Holt Designs 

Pieces.
