Afternoon followers and friends first thank you all for your wonderful comments

 on past posts the keep me going and mean so much.

This post is a personal one, 

Today would of been my dad's 75th  birthday but we lost him

12 years ago, and on top of that I lost my one and only best friend 2 years ago 

so this month is a hard one.

These 2 people took a big chunk of my heart, I have always had trouble making friends

but thanks to my blog and Facebook I have gained a few new friends.

And now I am living part of my dream by working on a DT for an amazing company.

Thank you to all of you that have had a share in helping me get this far.

So all your love and comments really do help me.

Sparkle medium play and good news

Afternoon everyone hope your weekend is starting to be a good one.

Mine is finally seeing the end of this blasted headache,

had a few goodies come through the door so I got a very crafty weekend ahead.

I do have some good news I have been asked to Guest DT for Fernil Designs I am so happy.

There stuff is amazing Lou really thinks outside the box So pop over to the 

SHOP

And grab some great goodies.

These items I made befor I had to pack up,

I made this card from using 

Flower Frame Border stencil

Periwinkle sparkle medium

Antique Pink

Pastel  green

Flowers and stuff from my stash

I used the stencil and put some of each of the cols on

then left to dry and added the other bits.

Here I used 

2 styles of ATC

From Fernli Design's

And both the little hearts

The letter I got in Hobby craft

I used pink and blue  acrylic paint from my stash and then used 

and all other bits from my stash.

Diamond sparkle medium

with a brayer to leave a nice subtle sparkle.

May Challenge over at Imagination crafts Things with wings

Morning guys hope everyone has had a good week so far,

I have not been able to craft to much as all my stuff is hold up in the living room

I can only get to a few bits so I can do my DT.

And its done nothing but rain we have had 2 ok days so far we need more 

so hubby can finish the summer house off so I can move into his room,

I am getting crafting withdrawal lol  

Right on to this months challenge over at

I love this stencil and had to use it lol

I used the green sparkle medium for the branches 

and the turquoise for the 2 little birds, then the Black star for the cages,

I only used 2 of the cages out of the 3.

I love the ready cards IC dose as the backgrounds are great if you need a quick card.

I used some Prima paper to layer on.

I spritzed the word joy added some flowers and feathers, gems to finish off .

Hope you like it and can't wait to see what you all come up with

mid month Inspiration

Morning all hope you have all had a fab weekend 

I did I met up with some of my Facebook friends, and Mags 

one of my DT sisters pics will be up here later this week.

This is my mid month Inspiration for you all I have done a simple card

this time.

I used the

Wisteria panel stencil

Starlight mica powders

Extra thick embossing powder

Tim holtz distress ink Shabby shutter 

Crafters companion CoreDinations  pastels card

A4 embossing folder

Versamark clear ink pad

Stuff from my stash

I took the stencil Stuck it to the card with masking tape then I and dabbed 

the clear pad over the stencil make sure you get it in all the holes,

Then I added the embossing powder then heated it with a heat tool.

once this was done I took 2 pots from the mica powders

and put a small amount over the image and rubbed it across the image

to leave a very soft look I then took the distress ink and added some color  around 

the image. When I embossed the background I used the same ink and rubbed it over the

raised embossing to highlight them.

Then I added some ribbon flower and feather and gems from my stash.

Heart of love

Afternoon everyone Thank you for all your wonderful comments 

and taking time to stop by.

As some of you know I have had to pack most of my craft stuff away ready for the move

but I can still get to my DT box lol its everything I have from Imagination crafts

and a box of to alter lol

So I have this medium heart a small canvas and a frame 

Some I got from Fernil Designs there laser cuts are amazing the best 

I have seen. so pop over to them and see what other goodies they have. 

I cut a piece of  pink tulle just a bit bigger than the heart 

and using my heat gum melted it into the shape of the heart them used 

hot glue to stick it down and to leave raised bits.

Then i cut a few more bits of tulle and glued down in any gaps and melted them

to fit. I painted the glue in the same pink as the heart its an acrylic paint 

from plaid. 

I took the baby canvas and covered it with a clear embossing ink and covered it 

with a pink powder I have I did this twice so it was a nice thick cover.

I then took lace and frilled it around the back.

Then I took a piece of gingham ribbon and put a not in it then glued to the back of the canvas.

I used a frame from Fernli and glued it to the canvas and bought the ribbon ends forward.

I add a bit of princess ribbon some ribbon and perils and a bit of an earing.

To finish I used Diamond sparkle  a white paste that dries clear and leaves an amazing sparkle.

One of my new cols and a must have as you can do so much with this one col.
