Crafters companion GDT comp entry

Well after 2 days of trying to get this right i got there.

 

 

 Its a twisted easel gatefold, hope you like x

 

This is inside the gatefold keeping it simple.

sneeky look

 Its hear as promised i am now allowed to show this little project i was asked to do, its a little thankyou booklet with tags.

 

 I used a 12x12 plain whit card and cut a piece 19 and half  in long and 5in high for the base.

then i cut back and front from 1 piece of 12x12 and the scraps were used for the pockets.

I made 4 tags size are 3in by 2 and 3 qarters inc and decorated in the cols i was given in brife,

which was Fall cols and check, swirls and thankyou. so i hope you all like the finished piece.

I used only 2 12x 12 papers.

Bird House

well this is my first but bad attempt at a bird house as i dont have any die cutting machines, and i seem to  have a very bad wrist so it was not to easy to do. but its still sweet,

Nappkin fold card

 Wow thanks to a lovely lady i met on FB bloggers network Helen Shaw for sharing how to make this amazing card so here is my finished card.

 

 

 

I did notice that our 12x12 paper are not so when msking this card cut to 30x30cm then make the score lines at 7.5cm from ends. i made this one first so i have it to had for next ones.

Like an easel

 Wanted to try something a bit diffrent a new idea for a card. thi sis not a normal card it looks like an easel but its not.

 

 

This is a big one its A4 twisted easel very gothic like.

cant sleep so crafting

 I wanted to do something simple so i used a bit of backing paper punched a few small flowers added some gems and got a sweet thankyou card.

daughters birthday card

 One of todays cards my daughters birthday card it is a Debbie Moore from the Autumn glow cd,

I love that its only black and gray with a little bit of copper for the edging.

embossed birthday card

I thought I would try a softer look for a birthday card all papers embossed and tigger and phoo embossed and using an ink pad brushed it over the raised image.

 

 

This something a bit diffrent i was watching Barbara Gray on pick of the week and loved what she did with the tree stamp but as i do not have any stamps like this at the moment i decidided to draw them using my Spectrum Noir pens and then cutting them out layerd them over black card which was sanded.the SWALK couple are cut out and 3D so they look like there in the woods and then all this was put on to a plain black back ground.

I Have decided to enter my chcolate box Humphry in to Crafters Companion comp this month. fingers crossed i might win one day lol

Debbie Moore grunge

This was one i enjoyed doing its a Debbie Moore grunged and mad to look old and i added real perl beads to decorate.

 

 

I love this one its my first me to you Christmas card i love the cols.

This was my first FFcd try and i printed the template on back, then when i went to print paper on other side for got to take away template so printed it with paper but it dose look good and i lernt my lesson lol.

These are my wedding invite ideas do have others but i just love these and there so versitial thanks to Steph for the ideas.

This is my first time using an embossing folder and it seems to sute all things.

I like this simple card. This is also the card Nancy Watts fetured in her monthly news letter which made my year. these are the free papers in the mag Making cards, So a big thankyou to Nancy.
