Mid month Inspiration postsd

Morning my wonderful friends and followers. 

welcome to the mid month Inspiration, 

I got to play with the MDF frames.

Imagination crafts  

The prize is £40 to spend at Imagination crafts

but you have to use IC products,

There is a DT top 3 for the rest.

Flower frame borders  stencil

As we were sent some of the MDF sets I liked the idea of 

doing something different.

I painted the board with jet MDF paint, it did not take long to dry.

Then  I took the stencil and using the versa mark clear I daubed through 

the stencil then took 2 of the mica powders and sprinkled them over 

the board with a brush then rubbed it over till all the versa mark 

was covered. once it was done I used a bit of kitchen roll to dab of any powder left.

I used 2 small chipboard hears 1 I dabbed with TH ink pad,

and covered the other with the faux gem sheet and cut out the heart.

I used some pearl beads and but them on the flower centres.

I found a little bear charm and put him in the middle.  I used string 

to finish I do love this one.

Imagination Crafts September challenge

Morning my fabulous friends and followers 

I know I have not done as much on my blog or you tube 

of late, so need to craft, I did not realise just how much I need my crafting 

Its been a good few months now and all I have done is my DT work.

Crafting stops me bing eating and being stressed,

thats it for now so hear is my post.

As some of you know My daughter had a little boy on the 27th August 

and this is for her.

I took some card and cut the banner shapes then I put some holes 

on the tops for the string. I took the sparkle medium and stencil and 

covered all the bits for the words and left to dry while these dried

I covered 2 of the pieces with paper from my stash and using a brass stencil

I added the little faces also using sparkle medium. 

Then i added some buttons, I used a TH distress ink in blue 

around the edging then I add the letters and I used string

as it looked better.

Mid month Inspiration

Good morning my wonderful friends and followers 

We have some fab projects by all the DT lady's

Its been good going for me now I'm teaching it feels fab to teach others again,

so can not wait to get my office done and loads of videos for you all.

this month we have scenery or summer,

I have made a tag with a lady in a garden.

Rules 

If you use IC products you can win £40.00

yes I know whay hay to that lol

First thing I did was cut the card and acetate to size,

Then covered the card with some of the Black star SM

let it dry then got the bird cage stencil and used the versa mark through it

and dusted it with the Mica powders 

Then I took Acetate and stencilled the bride on to it,

let it dry then add some of the cages and branches

then I took some of the green and dabbed the bottom to look like grass.

add some gems and tulle to finish.

New challenge at Imagination crafts

Morning my wonderful followers and friends

Its time for a new challenge over at Imagination crafts 

this time its Summer/ or scenery

I used an 8x8 card and a sheet from prima stationer's desk collection 

I glued the this and the card down I ripped some so it looked like a 

a wall,

I then stenciled some of the branches on then the birds,

Once it was dry i added all the little flowers and some butterflies.

and distressed  all the edging. 

so a quick one for today.

Mid month Inspiration

Morning all my wonderful friends and followers

Hope everyone is doing well 

I thought I would share some of the good things going on in my

Life at the moment.

As some of you may know I went to sewing and water color class

done by a local charity called Ascend, 

Since losing my BFF I have been a bit lost and one of my daughters 

said to join a crochet group which sounded fun so I did 

and have so much fun and laughter.

I new a few of the ladies as we all live in the area

one of them is the head of Ascend and she asked me if I fancy teaching 

crocheting for some of her ladies.

I said Yes, as Ascend have been good to me.

and its great to give back,

And as I am still waiting for good weather so we can order this god damn work top 

so hubby can sort the offices out. Which is driving me mad I need my crafting to de stress

LOL.

Now on to my wonderful DT project

we are halfway through july realy it has gone so quick,

I have made a card for you a simple one as I am loving

 all the simple cards I have seen all over blogland lately.

 ******

This card was an 8x8 I cut it down to a 6.5x6.5 

Then took the heart stencil and only doing the edges of the card

Covered it with the sparkle medium and left to dry.

Then I used the ledger stencil and using the pink again covered the grunge card

left them both to dry.

once dry I hot glued the grungy card to the white one,

then added some perils from my stash and the beaded drop is also from my stash,

I added a small bow. a very easy card and fab results.

Imagination crafts July challenge

Morning my lovely friends and followers 

hope you're all having a good week and the weather is staying fine.

Its time again for a fabulous challenge and it is one of my favorites

its ANYTHING GOES 

 As always there is a fab first prize £40

to spend on IC products, but you do need to of used any of the IC

products. 

there is a DT top 3 for all other entries.

I thought I would do a card as I don't do many now 

I took a blank 8x8 white card cut it to 6.5 x 6.5 then a bit of black 

and cut it slightly smaller then took the stencil and using black star I covered the stencil 

then removed it and left to dry.

once it was dry I glued it to the card then ripped it a small bit and using distress ink pad all over 

to to blend the music card to the rest of the card.

I then took a sentiment from the new Stationer's Desk A4 paper pack.

I scrunched it up and tor it in a few spots and also covered it in ink.

I added a small button butterfly and an old earring to finish.

Mid month Inspiration

Morning my lovely friends and followers

we are at the halfway point of this month's challenge over at Imagination  Crafts 

and its been

a busy one, I got asked to teach some ladies how to crochet and knit

and get paid whoo hoo so love teaching, cant wait to get my 

you tube back.

so on to my Inspiration.

I made a card yes I know I have not done may of late.

Gems and sentiment from my stash.

I put the stencil on the card and distressed the card

then took the flower stencil and covered it with the 3 cols of 

sparkle medium once dry I added the gems and sentiment.

So thats me for today and now of to watch my daughter and granddaughter

and grandson all do the race for life.

Sneak peek Imagination Crafts

In the pink

Evening to all you wonderful followers and friends

I have been going mad not being able to craft properly 

So I wrecked the front room to find some bits I knew I wanted to do 

a canvas.

As June is the race for life month I thought I would do 

it in pinks.

I painted the canvas with white and pink mixed then I used a pink ink spray

added some bits of worded paper and some bits of a 6x6 paper,

then added paint to them so they faded into the back ground.

I put the ink spray on a sponge and dabbed it and blended it over the canvas 

and the wooden frames and letters,

I then sparkle medium on the 2  frames and added a large gem.

The lady in the center is one I given by Lisa Tyrell some time ago

I add flowers and stick pins all from my stash I made the pins to match.

I added lace and bling down the side and a strip of bling on the top.

And loads of perils and bling also from my stash.

Well I feel better now I done some crafting LOL

Imagination Crafts June Challenge All that Glitters.

Morning my lovely followers and friends

We have a fabulous challenge for you this month

"ALL THAT GLITTERS"

All you need is to use any of there products

 Shopping list

Blue sapphire 

 Candy floss

Flower flourish

MDF blank board

I started with one of the backs you get with frame 

I covered the bored with mod podge then using some tissue

paper lade it over and let it stick how it fell leaving creases

then I took the stencil and using some ink spray & dabbed it over 

then let it dry.

Once it was dry Iv took the candy floss sparkle and just added it

over the flower bits of the stencil, Then took the Blue sapphire

and added it to only the swirls and dots

the stencil was of a bit so it was not on top.

I used the blue around the edges to finish and added 

some flowers from my stash and perils I hot glued the ribbon on to 

the back.

May Arts ribbon design team call

Morning my lovely followers and friends

hope your having a fab week 

This post is for the DT call for May Arts ribbon written/video

I would love to do video tutorials and have many on my You Tube Channel.

My first post is a crochet ribbon basket with 2 colour ribbons, white satin and gray organizer. 

2nd post is a mini album I made from scratch using my new prima Stationers Desk A4 papers and some ATC bits I have.
The tags are ATC papers and card the frame is also from the ATC collection.
I used ribbon for holding the pages in place and the yellow flowers on the front are ribbon flowers.
I used ribbon on the tags inside the mini and as the fastener.

My 3rd project is an altered wooden spoon 

First I took 2 sprays Lilac Night and Aqua Lagoon and spritzed a bit on to my mat, it only needed one squirt of each colour.

Then using a make up sponge dabbed it all over the spoon.
I used Aqua first and it seems a greenie/blue 

Then dabbed a bit of the Lilac here and there.

Then I used a Versa Mark ink pad and dabbed it on bits of the spoon then added some Meltdust which is like embossing powder.

Then I heated it up.

Before I added the feathers I was going to wrap ribbon around it but changed my mind LOL.

So I added some feathers with hot glue, then I wrapped a bit of gingham ribbon around a small bottle then hot glued it on to the spoon.

I glued a mini tinkerbell charm so it looks like she's been let out the bottle.

I added some more feathers and a bit of ribbon with (all my love) on it.

I added another tinkerbell at the bottom of the bottle,like she has let the other one out.
Next I added a bow to the gingham ribbon below everything.

I do hope you enjoyed this tutorial, as you know I do love doing them.
