Rhedd and Rosie Challenge 4 Monochrome

 Hi everyone Sorry not been about not been to well or able to see lol

 hope to be back to normal soon.

We are on are 4th challenge over at rhedd and rosies

And were doing great thank you all for your fabulous entry.

This challenge is set by Zoe

This is what you could win.

 I Have made a little ATC book i used 4 DL pearlized cards cut in half 

used a half circle punch then stuck the sides with red sticky tape.

I cover both front and back with docraft papers 

Then made the cover by using a bit of coordinations card I wrapped 

it round all the pockets and cut to fit I then used 

hot glue gun to hold pages in.

 I then used a skinny bit of ribbon from back to front 

i used 2 bits of lace a feather and flower and button from my stash

And a saying from one of the prima paper packs.

 Hi everyone sorry not been about i have been Ill for a while I am starting to get better

This is my chose of challenge,

I have gone for a male card. 

I used Prima papers for this one some buttons and bits from my stash.

The corners are from China with other bits hubbie got me, lol

i screwed up some pieces of 1 sheet from the Engraver  collection by Prima At

Craft Obsessions

i then dabbed distress ink over them and glued to the card.

Challage 2

Hi guys so sorry i am awful for a bit i have been trying to sort out my fibro diet and ended up ill before i got started lol I wont be about for a few more weeks but wanted to let you all know we are on are 2nd challenge over at rhedd and rosies

I have made a clip board tag

  I made the tag about 7 inch by 3.5 inch

cover it in paper from my stash

Some notelets from on line I made a little envelope

Added lace ribbon flower some trim and flowers from my stash,

A wooden clothes peg covered with paper.

Mixed meda canvas

 Hi everyone thank you for all the lovely comments they are fab.I had some great news
I won 2nd place in the Weekly challenge over at  tsunamirose blog 

I have done a you tube video on the top canvas, As this is for my husband

and they are bits I have kept over the years of places we have been 

so they all have some meaning.

The pink one i did first and wanted to try something different with Lady's Diary

There is a metal heart at the top it was covered in pearls and crystals i used some 

of the small paper flowers and some fluffy stuff i had in my stash lol

and a piece of ribbon.

A jewellery Box

 Hi guys  A big thank you for all your great comments they mean so much.

As some of you may know i have my daughter and granddaughter

Moving in to what was my craft room. I am crying inside lol

I now have a bit of the summer house.well my daughter was going through 

Becka's toy jewellery and found some real ones.

So i made this box from scratch it was fun as never made a box before

I will rec next time i do one.

And its all blue as its her favourite col.

Tsunami Rose Challenge

 This is my first try of a Acordion book

I used all the papers from A life a bloom

I cut 2 pieces of A4 card to fit the paper's

Then i distressed the white so it blended better.

Then i decorated the front with some lace and feather and flowers.

I added some pockets in side also used Velcro for closing.

A Mini Scrapbook swap

 Hi everyone sorry not been about but with moving my craft room 

to a bit of the summer house has been fun (not) lol

I joined a new group on Facebook called UK & Ireland swaps

its been fun and made me think difrently,

i joined a mini swap i was paired with Deb and i made this sweet mini

And the one at the bottom is the one she made me.

 

 I used the Rondella collection from Prima

and made the cover with some chipboard

& covered it all. i made the pages myself and all the tags ect to go in

 I used black lace on the front we were told to use some black and red i added

a stick pin and flowers for the red, i used some of the big rose on lace.

Little bag tutorial

How to make this little bag.

Take an A4 piece of patterned card or heavy paper 

1.5cm from both sides and score top to bottom

9.5cm from bottom cut a small tap witch is 1.5cm wide only to the 

score line. 

then 9cm from the little cut cut 8cm.do this on both sides.

Where the little tab is score from left to right across paper,

At the end you have cut the e longer strips of use a punch to do decoration 

Using other paper make a handle 17.5 cm long 1.5cm wide and score a bit on end of both 

sides for gluing down 

For tabs down front you need 2 x 15cm do a rounded edge and add 3 hole then stick on back work out 

how far you want them down the front. then score add a strip from one side to other for tabs to go in 

about 1.5cm wide. 

 Hope this is ok if not ill do a video.

Memorys

 Hi everyone thank you for you comments, they mean a lot.

Right on with this box,

At Christmas someone said he would love a box for all 

the bits from his son's childhood so i made this as its for a guy about his son 

i had to make it bloky lol 

i used a wonderful 12x12 paper not sure were from,

added some pale blue ribbon and a few bits from my stash,

then i painted the box with acrylic paint added some crackle paint

then painted again to get this lovey finish.

A small music box

Hi all I have not been to well so not had chance to update my blog,

Hope everyone's OK 

Right this little box took me some time to do as was not sure what i wanted,

i made the mistake of gluing box together then papering it,

 ow nearly forgot once paper was in i covered it in pva glue so   

it looked glossy then i decoupage the piano witch i like the look of 

 I used wooden notes ro hang from the top hot glued them in place,

Then i used a large brad for a stool,

 Then added some notes etc on the outside used some beads and 

spacers for the feet.

Hope the young man this is for will like it.

Challenge card

Hi all I have made this sketch card im new to this sort of cards

But im trying all new this year,

This is for the tsunami rose 

Challenge, i have used the paper and postcard from Tsunami rose 

life a bloom set,

ribbon and card stock all from my scraps box.

First order of the year

 Well I'm on a roll this is for a family member for there sister

he said she only like natural cols,

So I used a page from my prima paper

 this is on the card and the back and front of the note book

i accented using the Lady's Diary chipboard pieces

some ribbon and a few small buds.

 And copper peel offs.

Rolodex Challenge

 Morning all On you tube the is a lady Christine shes doing this challenge

You make a rolodex card so this is mine ready to go

I used a 3.5 inch buy 4 inch card.

Then i added some ribbon pearls and gems a stick pin i cut down

a few flowers i used my new paper Rondelle from prima

and the stamped flower and word are also from prima,

Then i used some of the same page to make a 

Tag to hold the card it has ribbon and lace a few gems and pearls,

First scrapmini

 

 This is my first try of a scrap mini i made from scratch

I used the Lady's Diary 8x8 papers. to make the book

and i used a teq i saw on you tube i will show this in a video 

later, i made my own pages and decorated the front. 

 using bits i have in my craft room the stick pin is one i made 

using the best bits i had,  I also used Velcro for clasp,

 I made all the tags and other bits for inside also using Lady's Diary

I had some chain in a mixed pot the cage was a key chain

i added a key and ribbon.

i used wide ribbon round the book and looks fab,

Fairy jar

Morning all hope every one is having a good day,

I saw Fiona Jennings make a fairy jar,

An i thought what a great idea.

My granddaughter Who is 3 has been having bad dreams and waking up scared

So i asked her if she wanted a fairy to watcher over her

she said yes, I made it all in blue as this is her favorite col,

and now she carries it every were lol, 

 

I used a coffee jar washed of course

 I used some stuffing to fill the jar and so fairy can be seen at front,

I then used some of the ruffled ribbon i got of Fi last year

some blue pearl beeding,

and flowers.

It gave her joy and a sleep with out bad dreams

She named her fairy Blue fairy lol

A wall hanging

 Hi all hope your year is starting on the good side.

Just before Christmas i did a blog hop over at

tsunami rose 

and won an amazzzzzing prize first i got the Christmas journal

as a prize as well as $25.00 to spend in Daisy's shop and i got the 

Life abloom and some other pages.

Daisy's stuff is fabulous.

I would like to enter this into tsunami rose

I went to print some of the pages and came across a broken 

printer, well hubby suprised me with a new one that is also WiFi lol 

so i got to print some of the postcards from Life Abloom 

i used the plaque and trim and a few other bits from Fiona (jennings 644)

The paper is from my stash 

I hot glued it all down 

But as i was videoing this for my You tube i used silicon 

bad idea.
